Pamomile soaps are naturally simple and simply soothing.
Pamomile soaps are still made in very small batches of a dozen or so bars over the kitchen stove in our antique Cape Cod house. The cold process method utilized is a traditional one...the same Granny used. Many of the recipes are original and some of our most popular soaps, such as lavender rosemary, carrot, clove, and rosemary oatmeal, are blends suggested by our customers. |

Typical of any handmade product, variations between batches do occur. Once the molded soaps have “cured” (a wait of at least four weeks until the bars harden sufficiently), each bar is then minimally, but whimsically, packaged with a hand-written tag, listing the specific ingredients, ready for immediate gift giving.
All Pamomile soaps are mild, suitable as facial or body cleansers. Even our kitchen and gardener soaps function well in the bath. Pamomile soaps produce a rich lather, and unless, unscented, a light fragrance. To fully appreciate the qualities of your handmade soap, enjoy it within six months of purchase.

INGREDIENTS
All of our soaps are vegetable oil based, with a high concentration of olive oil in every bar. Many of our varieties also contain locally produced beeswax. The addition of the beeswax results in a harder, hence, longer-lasting bar. Customers often comment on the longevity of Pamomile soap.
Herbal ingredients impart particular attributes. The basic recipe is an old one: olive, coconut, palm oils; water, sodium hydroxide; essential oils; and dried herbs, flowers, fruits, and vegetables. Because we emphasize simplicity, no synthetic color additives are ever incorporated into Pamomile soaps.
Our ingredients are pure, and unless otherwise noted, natural. Pamomile soaps and accessory skin care products, are meant for external, topical use only. Since people do develop allergies, it is always advisable to do a trial skin patch test initially. Should an irritation occur, discontinue using the product.

ARGAN OIL WITH SWEET ORANGE AND BOIS DE ROSE (Marrakesh!) - Known for its moisturizing properties, organic Moroccan argan oil is blended with sweet orange and Bois de Rose essential oils for this soap that will replenish and nourish dry skin.

CALENDULA CORNMEAL EXFOLIATING BAR - Especially for those with sensitive skin, the cornmeal in this soap works to gently unclog pores and exfoliate, while the calendula then soothes. The soap mold, depicting a calendula flower, is specific, too.

COCONUT LIME- (Sublime Coconut Lime) - Breathe deeply of this luscious scent, and you may find yourself temporarily transported to some tropical isle. Coconut essential oil intermingles with the crisp citrus fragrance of lime to produce this soothing soap. The astringent, bactericidal, and cleansing aspects of the lime oil are beneficial to your skin, too.

GERANIUM ROSE CLAY (Rosy Pelargonium) - The very fine rose clay acts as an “oh so gentle” abrasive while the geranium essential oil adds the floral scent and off-sets the drying of your skin as well.

GINGER (Autumn Arabesque) - Ginger warms the skin while providing an appealing scent. This is a rich soap; it lathers well.

LICORICE (Beelzebubble) - A funky scent appealing to those who like anise, fennel, or licorice. Henry Van Dyke was “spot on” when he wrote, The first day of spring is one thing, and the first spring day is another. The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month.
